Introbotics provides a Test and Measurement Service utilizing our  CI1000™ Automated Controlled Impedance Tester and ACCU-Prober™  hand held tester.  Tests can be conducted on sample coupons or on the actual image traces within the boards.

Introbotics Test and Measure Service can be utilized for many objectives:

Fine tuning of passive models
Verification of PWB design impedance and propagation delay
Understanding of PWB vendor capability  
Understanding of PWB material variance thru Effective Er data  
Ability to calibrate product’s critical interconnects
Automation of measurement system brings confidence in data collected

Raw Data Available from Automated TDR Data Collection:

Interconnect impedance on single-ended and differential structures (also assembled connectors, daughter cards, etc.).
Interconnect signal flight time (propagation delay, Effective Er)
Interconnect Bandwidth (interconnect insertion loss)  
Impedance, delay, bandwidth on both sides of differential pair  
Signal profile (TDR Waveform) for via characterization, etc.

Average Impedance by board layer

Maximum high speed bus skew

Absolute values – Estimated at +/-0.2 ohms
Repeatability – 0.05 ohms
Interconnect Signal Flight Time
Absolute values – 1 psec + 1% of time interval
Repeatability – 4 psec
Test System Risetime (Incident pulse) : 25 psec (Approx. equivalent test bandwidth of 14 GHz)
Test Speed: 800-2000 data points per hour

Introbotics uses a Tektronix DSA8200 oscilloscope along with our CI1000™ Tester to deliver fast and accurate test results.  Each test job is calibrated against 28 and 50 ohm NIST airlines.  Introbotics can test panels up to 36"x28.5".

Introbotics also offers software to allow waveform viewing and screen capture.  We call this our WaveForm Viewer™.
