Introbotics Announces the ACCU-Prober™

Introbotics today announced the availability of the ACCU-Prober™ line of controlled impedance testers for printed wiring boards. The ACCU-Prober™ brings together Introbotics fast-response probe tip with the features that quality and test managers have asked for. "The ACCU-Prober™ is a good value", said Paul Benke of Zero Defect Inc, "it brings together computer guidance software, flexible report generation and high accuracy, all in a compact, easy to use, unit". Brian Butler of Introbotics said, "the ACCU-Prober™ is an ideal product for the test technician, engineer or scientist--it complies with all industry standards and can measure traces from 1/2" to 100' with ± 0.1 ohm accuracy".

The ACCU-Prober™ system is equipped with computer guided software that actually shows a technician exactly where to place the probe tip on a printed wiring board for each measurement. The ACCU-Prober™ uses time domain reflectometry produced by the Tektronix TDS-8000 or the Tektronix 11801 and CSA803 for the controlled impedance test. The results of each controlled impedance test are viewed using the WaveForm™ Viewer. The Viewer shows the technician the graphical results of each test. The ACCU-Prober™ is designed to stand-alone or connect to a local area network so the technician, as well as the engineers and quality managers can see and record the results of each test.

Computer Technician

A technician controls and guides all aspects of the ACCU-Prober™ operation. A step by step training book is provided and on site training is available from Introbotics.

Introbotics is a maker of controlled impedance testers. The Company also makes robotic testers that can be installed in a testing facility or on the printed wiring board production line.
